ACE After School - Middle SchoolNorthside Independent School District’s ACE After School Program is committed to enriching lives by encouraging academic and social success. The after school program offers opportunities for children to access academic, enrichment, social, and recreational experiences in an after-school environment that is safe and supervised. The ACE After School Program is designed to meet the specific needs of our middle school students, and support the goals and objectives of Northside ISD. Learning Tree - GrantThe Texas ACE is a grant program administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers program in an effort to help foster students’ academic success by improving attendance, behavior, and academics. These sites are currently pending funding approval for the 2026–2027 school year through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (Texas ACE) grant program. If funding is not awarded, campuses will transition to Tuition-Based Title I programs. Teacher Work Day Child Care ProgramThe NISD Teacher Work Day Child Care Program is designed to support Northside Independent School District employees by providing a safe, structured, and enriching child care option during district-designated Teacher Work Days, Staff Development Days, and Teacher Planning Days. The program recognizes that many employees are required to report to work on days when students are not in session and may need dependable child care in order to fully meet their professional responsibilities. This program is only available to Northside ISD employees who require child care on these designated days. Its purpose is to alleviate the stress and logistical challenges associated with securing childcare during non-student instructional days.Child Care Program
